We had two fulfilling days at the Infobip Shift 2022 conference with engaging speakers, thought-provoking success stories, and lessons learned along the way. It was a valuable opportunity to dive into the latest industry trends and check what could be coming next.
The two-day tech conference brought together around 4000 in-person attendees – developers, tech professionals and enthusiasts from all around the world. A rich program of speeches and panels unfolded on six stages, with an expo area with over 30 companies and start-ups from around the globe showcasing their latest innovations.
At the conference opening, Infobip co-founder and CTO Izabel Jelenic noted how remarkable it is to have so many talented people in one place to discuss the future of software. With the API age maturing, the value generated via API access to systems and solutions is clearer than ever. Arik Shtilman testified to that, too. The founder and CEO at Rapyd, the biggest Israeli fintech unicorn, believes that APIs contributed to the startups’ growth, and to the overall economy.
We enjoyed connecting with the international tech professionals and some truly outstanding personalities that keep inspiring till this very day.
One of the most precious moments was the chat with CSS founder Håkon Wium Lie, whose groundbreaking work in the 1990s determined the evolution of the web. He steered our thinking – and efforts – towards the element of beauty, needed in displaying structured information on the web. -We need to combine content with aesthetic, he said at the conference in Zadar, Croatia. Still so true!
